Role Description- Operating Theatre/Room Nurse Manager

 

Service Provided:

• Adult/Geriatrics
• Male and Female patients
• 24 hours/7 days a week Services

Role- To overseas and manage the theatre department:

• Main Theatre-8 Theatre Rooms, & Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Beds
• Lithotripsy Unit - 2 Theatre Rooms, 5 PACU Beds
• Day Surgery Unit- 2 Theatre Rooms, 4 PACU Beds, 13 short Stay Beds
• Neuro-Surgery Theatres- 2 Theatre Rooms, 3 PACU Beds
• Building 2 Theatres- First Floor 4 Theatre Rooms, 6 PACU Beds
• #NBums- 1 Theatre Room, 1 PACU Bed
• New Surgical Tower- 8 Theatre Rooms, 13 PACU Beds
• X-Ray/Angio Medical Treatment and Dental Day Surgery Unit

 

Scrub Cases Include:

• Severe Head Injuries
• Multiple Fractures
• Multiple Traumas
• Appendectomy
• Caesarean Section
• Cataract
• Tonsillitis
• Gallbladder Stones
• Spinal/Lumbar injuries

Selection Criteria:
